Everyone here was amazing. Wait times for me were less than five minutes. They got my lab results back to me on the same day they drew the blood. The staff was courteous and communicative. I couldn't imagine a better doctors office experience if I tried.
I don’t know if it’s the opioid epidemic, (whah, whah, whah) but they are extremely reluctant to give me the medication I need. I don’t care if Joe Schmoe is overdosing, give me what I need. I don’t request what I don’t need and I don’t take opioids. Ridiculous and unnecessary!
I've never had any complaint about this facility. The doctors have always been very polite and helpful. I've been going here since I was a toddler.
I went in for three different issues. This is what I was told by doctors for each issue.
Insomnia: "Well that too bad. We can give you sleep meds but we wont because they dont actually work well. So good luck."
This office has promise, but its definitely not there. Also? Your receptionists are seriously overworked and very stressed out. I understand that the solution for this was an automated system. But that leaves customers angry after waiting to speak with someone, which in turn is taken out on the staff. There needs to be a different system, and more help out front. How you're greeted at the front office, determines how you feel about your doctors and nurses.
Extreme Pain in various body parts: Well. Lets do blood work for Lymes Disease. And never follow up." Turned out to be fibromyalgia after I had suggested it could be fibro.
Cyst in left wrist: "Yeah we can remove that. NO problems. Let me hook you up with a specialist." I received no follow up care.
Advised them I needed to establish a new primary care physician with them. After going through trouble of sending medical records and accepting fairly long wait to get initial appointment, I found out the primary care person they assigned me wasn't even a doctor, despite the fact I clearly advised at the start that I was interested in an actual "physician". The person they pawned me off on was actually just a nurse practitioner :(. I advised I needed an actual doctor and they advised all of their doctors were scheduling 6 months out. What a pathetic, excuse for a scheduling department. The fact that they don't see a problem with their scheduling process that makes patients wait 6 months for an appointment is just ridiculous.
The attitude I got from the doctor on my last complaint was embarrassing for me. I never returned because I got the distinct feeling they thought I was lying. Understandably Fibro can be difficult to diagnose. But there was no further investigation with my issues. That would be my biggest complaint with this office. It really is a cattle run of patients. Their prices arnt bad, but you get what you pay for I guess.
