Best pizza in town also. The only "minus" that I found while living in the area is that no pizza shops have baked zitti on their menus and sadly they were no different (hint, hint...). Skip past the "cabbage" hoagie shop "2 blocks down the road" and get a real Italian at Cara Mia's. Pretty much the only eatery that miss in Rutland.
They have the cutest pizza man around! Very good food, and very kind people! Highly recommend!!
Best Italian hoagie in town. Not only is it a great Italian, but they prepare it with the lettuce tomato and onions on top, like it should be, not on the bottom like every other sandwhich shop around!
I'll update this as I try more from their menu. That may take me a while, as I want to try all of their specialty pizzas. Buon appetito!

Always good food when we order from Cara Mia's! We've never had a bad meal yet and we've been ordering for years. Their delivery is superb too! Zack is fast and always courteous!
Cara Mia's is as good as the best I've had in New York City. I've only ordered delivered pizza, so far... Delivery is prompt, drivers polite, and the pizza.... o, the pizza...
Good quality mozzarella cheese, not your usual pizza sausage (i.e. It was good!), and some great speciality pizzas. I actually ate the crust, something I rarely do with most pizza, except for some in NYC. Try the herb-washed pizza crusts. Molto bene! So far, I've only tried the tomato sauce, and none of the other pizza sauces/base layers.. It's perfect; not too sweet, not too salty.
