I can honestly say they are my first choice to rent a car in Vermont. Great staff, nice clean cars and the rates are best in central Vermont! Most importantly they don't play games with their prices like large chains always do.
I attempted to rent a vehicle from here. They were very rude from the second we walked in. Also very expensive with crappy mileage allowance per day. The man behind the counter insinuated that my name on my ID and credit cards wouldn't match, which would mean they were stolen. Complete crap. I will never go there again. We went to Enterprise instead and were treated very well.
Rented over 45 vehicles from Green Mountain Car Rental over the summer and fall for our business (employee vehicles). They were great to deal with and had nice, new clean cars. Only place in Central Vermont that rents 12 passenger vans also. Appreciate the local personal touch. They care, really nice people.
I rented a roto tiller from this place on a sat before they closed and had it until Monday as there closed Sunday's, went home to do the garden space it ran for 10 minutes and then stalled out and would not run again until it sat there for 20 minutes at which point it would start and run for 2 minutes before stalling again and having to let sit again and repeate they refused to give me a refund or even a discount, the guy working there has 0 customer service skills what so ever, 2 hour job took me 2 days very disappointed with this place and I will never be going back.
Had a very good experience with their friendly staff! They have have a great weekend deal! I was able to rent a bobcat exavator on Saturday after 3pm till Monday at 8am for a day rate! I will use them in the future!!!!
